About this artwork
Recognizable in the artwork's dreamlike atmosphere is a glimpse of one of Florence's most famous monuments, the basilica of Santa Maria Novella. This is overpowered by the presence of a mysterious woman who seems to make her lose most of her well-known architectural connotations, replacing them with those of a robe that appears on her body, giving the scene of the painting poetry and mystery. In creating my work, I worked with oil to capture a deep emotional expression, interweaving figurative, metaphysical and surrealist elements. The vivid brushstrokes evoke an intimate reflection on human essence and the mysteries of existence. Each stroke encapsulates a story, imparting dynamism and a unique energy that will enrich any room in the home with distinctive character and a touch of enigma.
