About this artwork
Painted on canvas stiffened with glue and sand, an element symbolic of the ephemeral that, in my creation, lent its basis to a work inspired by the Divine Comedy. The ephemeral and the immortal masterpiece come together in a circle-shaped support, an emblem of perfection. Perfection in which there are symbolic allusions of Hell, Purgatory and Paradise, in whose immense light appears the figure of Beatrice, with olive fronds on her head, spiritually towering over Dante. A work imbued with my heart and soul, in which the oil also explores, symbolically, the eternal dance between the opposites that surround and define us. The vivid hues and soul-piercing expressions are emblems of the struggle and harmony within the human essence. Realism and expressionism come together to communicate the intensity of life and the importance of emotional balance. This canvas will bring to the home environment an energy that stimulates introspection and the search for one's inner center.
