About this artwork
Artwork inspired by an illusionism show set in Florence's Lungarno Amerigo Vespucci, so named because the famous navigator lived nearby : his family was one of the most prominent in the Ognissanti district. The flow of playing cards thrown in the air gives the illusion of seeing magical and mysterious faces appear and dominate the space. My painting is a tumult of emotions and dreams, a work that defies reality with its expressionist and surreal nature. I used oil to bring to life metaphysical figures hovering between heaven and earth, with contemplative faces reflecting the mysteries of existence. The falling papers reinforce the sense of an elusive destiny. Imbued with enigmatic energy and a dreamy color palette, this canvas brings to your abode an aura of fascination and deep reflection.
