About this artwork
Artwork in which I explore the complexity of identity and perception through expressionist and surrealist style. Painted in oil, I depict human faces fused with Renaissance and Romanesque architectural elements, evoking a sense of mystery and introspection even through a strange curtain that magically looms over a glimpse of Florence's Medici Chapels. The earthy tones and floating textures reflect the challenges and internal reflections we all face, searching for our true 'self' hidden among the details of everyday life. This canvas invites the viewer to reflect on his or her own life and individual journey, bringing contemplative energy to every space in which it is placed.
