Artwork inspired by the strong suggestions sparked in an evening spent with a storyteller in the alleys of Siena, one of the most beautiful and mysterious cities in Italy, rich in history, secrets, traditions and curious legends that also tell of frightening creatures and spine-chilling stories, the intensity of which flows through the generations, uniting past and present. A very special curiosity concerns a stone, the palindrome of the Sator, also known as the magic square, located externally on the Cathedral of Siena: it bears a mysterious phrase that remains the same, even when read backwards. Oil allowed me to mix realism and expressionism, to highlight deep emotions and invite an inner dialogue. Each stroke brings energy and passion to your home, evoking the rich facets of the human experience.

Paola Imposimato, professional painter from Florence, graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, has to her credit in Italy and abroad numerous personal, collective and permanent exhibitions in public and private collections. She has created 120 paintings for Historical Reenactments, called “Palio”, in most of the national territory and carried out many years of collaborations with Haute Couture Houses and Publishing Houses. Her artistic production ranges from portraits to Sacred Art, from wall paintings to those on canvas, panel, wood, leather, ceramics and wax. Many awards have been achieved.
