About this artwork
Artwork inspired by the sea breeze through a realization on canvas stiffened by sand and glue, so that the sand itself embraced the entire creation, offering the sensation of entering it and immersing oneself in the salty smell. The shoreline opens the scene to the breath of the sea and the riot of colors that caress the dazzling light of a sun-drenched beach. The final effect becomes similar to a painting on plaster. In painting this work I let emotion flow freely through each brushstroke, using acrylics, enamels and inks to capture the vibrant spirit of life on the shoreline. The contrasts between the stillness of the sea and the vibrancy of the colorful parasol reflect the duality of existence. Each figure is imbued with realism yet transfigured by expressionism, bringing to your space an energy that celebrates the fleeting beauty of a present moment.
