Artwork inspired by the cultural movement of nineteenth-century realism, through a portrait of a gentlewoman shaped in plays of light that caress her face and atmosphere: I have transfused the essence of nineteenth-century elegance and refinement into oil. With each brushstroke, I brought to life a figure with a strong presence, embodying the realism and sensibility of that era with a chromaticism that is at once vivid and delicate. Looking at my work, one can sense the delicacy and intensity of a gaze that tells timeless stories. This work will bring to the home environment a touch of nobility and an atmosphere steeped in history and culture.

Paola Imposimato, professional painter from Florence, graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, has to her credit in Italy and abroad numerous personal, collective and permanent exhibitions in public and private collections. She has created 120 paintings for Historical Reenactments, called “Palio”, in most of the national territory and carried out many years of collaborations with Haute Couture Houses and Publishing Houses. Her artistic production ranges from portraits to Sacred Art, from wall paintings to those on canvas, panel, wood, leather, ceramics and wax. Many awards have been achieved.
