About this artwork
Painting inspired by “Rigoletto,” an opera by Giuseppe Verdi, one of the most important opera composers and one of the greatest composers ever. The full-bodied painting with intense but earthy colors “speaks” of the drama of passion, betrayal, filial love and revenge, offering a combination of melodic richness and dramatic power. In creating this work, I explored the depth of human emotion. The use of oil, on masonite support, allowed me to caress the panel with intense tones, capturing the intimacy of a moment suspended in time. Expressionism blends with realism to tell a sentimental story between two figures, a dance of glances and gestures that speaks directly to the soul. This painting is an invitation to reflect on human connections, bringing a wave of energy and passion into your home. The artwork weighs 3.5 kg.
