About this artwork
I created this artwork with a mixture of passion and mystery, channeling tradition and innovation through an expressionist and surrealist lens that inspired portraits of Michelangelo Buonarroti, Leonardo da Vinci, and Donatello. The glimpses of Giotto's bell tower and Florence Cathedral that frame the celebrated figures represent the duality between the past and dreamlike visions of the future, with oil on canvas bringing tangible emotions in a dialogue between reality and fantasy. This painting is an invitation to reflect, a visual journey that will enrich any room with its warmth and depth.
