Veritas is an exploration of self-perception, hidden truths, and the unsettling encounter between the self we inhabit and the self we dare to see. A solitary woman sits before a mirror, accompanied by a silent feline presence. Above her, a blood-red sun hangs in a sky of muted crimson and ochre. Nearby, a mysterious architectural symbol stands like a doorway into something concealed. Every element contributes to an atmosphere suspended between the familiar and the unknown. The mirror becomes more than a reflection. It suggests confrontation — the moment when appearances begin to dissolve and something deeper demands to be acknowledged. The red tones evoke intensity, instinct, and the raw nature of truth, while the surrounding symbols invite interpretations that remain deliberately open. Rendered in a raw, expressive style, Veritas embraces imperfection, symbolism, and the intimate language of the unconscious. It does not offer easy answers. Instead, it invites the viewer to question what is seen, what is hidden, and what might emerge when one dares to look beyond appearances. This work belongs to the darker, introspective dimension of my artistic practice, where the psyche, symbolism, and the unseen intersect.
