About this artwork
This captivating artwork presents a striking tableau of abstract figures, rendered in stark, flowing black forms that conjure a dynamic sense of movement and energy. Each figure is uniquely defined by its elongated, sinuous form, standing in a row against a plain white backdrop. The simplicity of the background focuses the viewer's attention entirely on the interplay of the figures themselves. An intriguing feature of this piece is the vibrant blue element present on the upper left side of each figure. This bold infusion of color draws the eye immediately, creating a visual rhythm that introduces a heightened sense of depth and cohesion to the composition. The blue accents appear almost as if they are dripping or melting, adding a visceral, organic quality that contrasts with the more structured, almost mechanical appearance of the black forms. The figures, though abstract and stylized, evoke a sense of human presence. They appear to be in conversation or interaction, their postures and the delicate balance between them hinting at a narrative that is left open to interpretation. This ambiguity invites the viewer to engage with the artwork more deeply, to ponder the relationships and emotions that might be represented by these enigmatic forms. The contrast between the starkly monochrome black and the vivid blue infuses the piece with a sense of tension and harmony, showcasing the artist's adeptness at manipulating color and form to evoke a powerful, emotional response. The dripping effect of the blue elements adds an additional layer of dynamism and fluidity, suggesting movement frozen in time. Overall, this artwork is a masterful blend of abstraction and emotion, inviting viewers into a world of vibrant forms and intriguing narratives. It stands as a testament to the power of minimalism, where each line and color choice resonates with meaning and evokes profound contemplation.

About the artist
I have come to a realization about myself and my art. I am impatient and I have need for instant gratification. I get frustrated with time consuming traditional techniques and want to skip ahead to the end. It is for these reasons that I am a series artist. I like to experiment with new ideas until I am satisfied with the result then I move on to a new one. Sometimes the result can lead the next series. The inspiration for a lot my work is in the trying of the new techniques. Having freedom of expression and not being limited to one style of making art are paramount to my identity as an artist.
