About this artwork
This artwork commands attention with its striking abstract form and dynamic composition. Dominated by monochromatic tones, the piece juxtaposes stark blacks with soothing whites, ingeniously interspersed with subtle hints of twilight blue. The interplay of these colors creates a powerful visual impact, drawing the viewer into its depths. At its core, the painting features a bold circular form, created through broad, confident brushstrokes that seem to hover in a state of perpetual motion. This central figure is fluid and expressive, exuding an aura of strength and resilience. Dripping paint trails from these strokes, introducing an element of raw spontaneity and emphasizing the artist's unrestrained technique. Below the circle, angular forms intersect and overlap, reminiscent of structural foundations. These shapes evoke a sense of groundedness, balancing the ethereal quality of the circular form above. The contrast between the geometric and the organic is compelling, challenging the observer to decipher meaning and emotion within the strokes. The painting’s luminous white backdrop enhances the vibrancy of the dark hues, creating a stark contrast that accentuates the artwork's dynamic energy. Each brushstroke is deliberate yet exuberant, embodying a rhythm that suggests both control and liberation. In its essence, this artwork stands as a testament to the harmony and tension between form and color. It invites contemplation and introspection, leaving a lasting impression through its bold yet nuanced execution. This is a piece that refuses to be ignored, asserting its presence with authority and grace.

About the artist
I have come to a realization about myself and my art. I am impatient and I have need for instant gratification. I get frustrated with time consuming traditional techniques and want to skip ahead to the end. It is for these reasons that I am a series artist. I like to experiment with new ideas until I am satisfied with the result then I move on to a new one. Sometimes the result can lead the next series. The inspiration for a lot my work is in the trying of the new techniques. Having freedom of expression and not being limited to one style of making art are paramount to my identity as an artist.
