About this artwork
This artwork is a vibrant explosion of color, capturing the viewer's attention with its dynamic interplay of reds, greens, and oranges. At the center, a bright orange core radiates outward, blending seamlessly into bold strokes that fan outward like energetic, abstract petals. The artist employs a clever use of contrast, juxtaposing the fiery warm tones with subtle hints of cooler green, creating a sense of depth and movement. Textural variations add a tactile quality, inviting viewers to imagine the brushstrokes' intensity. The organic flow of colors suggests a floral or sunburst motif, yet retains an abstract essence, leaving interpretation open to the viewer. The composition's symmetry and balance evoke a sense of harmony amidst chaos, making the piece both captivating and thought-provoking. This work stands as a testament to the artist's ability to harness color and form to evoke emotion and curiosity.

About the artist
I have come to a realization about myself and my art. I am impatient and I have need for instant gratification. I get frustrated with time consuming traditional techniques and want to skip ahead to the end. It is for these reasons that I am a series artist. I like to experiment with new ideas until I am satisfied with the result then I move on to a new one. Sometimes the result can lead the next series. The inspiration for a lot my work is in the trying of the new techniques. Having freedom of expression and not being limited to one style of making art are paramount to my identity as an artist.
