About this artwork
"Procrathletics" humorously captures the tension between laziness and movement, featuring a frog hanging leisurely from a cable. Instead of typical athletic equipment, the frog uses clothespins as makeshift skis, symbolizing an ironic blend of athleticism and procrastination. The piece is framed as an old mail stamp, giving it a nostalgic touch, as if freezing a whimsical moment of inertia in time. The delicate lines and muted colors evoke a playful yet introspective commentary on the balance between action and delay, reminding us of the peculiar ways we navigate effort and avoidance.

About the artist
In recent years, my artistic practice has fused digital art with mixed media techniques in drawing and painting to explore the narrative connections between everyday objects and the human experience of constant, and sometimes meta, connectivity. I begin with a concept and then find the narrative that can be visually conveyed. I work with digital and pictorial materials that bridge the tangible world, creating a dialogue between the present and the past. My aim is to craft pieces that invite viewers to question the micro-narratives of contemporary life. The hybrid nature of my work reflects my experience of living in various countries, transcending cultural boundaries and evoking emotional engagement. Through the use of color, content, and form, my goal is to generate visual experiences that prompt reflection on human perception, encouraging a deeper awareness of how we connect with the world around us.
