This piece is inspired by left-handed baseball pitchers and the way their throws create curves reminiscent of the ocean waves surfers ride. The artwork captures the dynamic motion and fluidity of the pitch, drawing a parallel between the athleticism of pitching and the grace of surfing. I am a visual artist originally from Mexico City. I have two children and divide my time throughout the year among Barcelona, Philadelphia, and Mexico City. My career as an artist has been characterized by a quest for self-expression and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of my craft. I received my academic training in contemporary art in Munich, Mexico City, and Lyon; over the years, I have participated in various group and solo exhibitions, and I consider my work to be in constant evolution. These experiences have honed my technical skills, and I have deepened my thematic and conceptual understanding, which drive my artistic practice.
