The image emerges from the repetition of a gesture, from the accumulation of lines that construct and deconstruct the body through time. Each stroke is a pause in movement, an intersection between what has been and what is about to fade. The figure of a woman, captured in the act of existing, fragments within her own passage: her bare back bears witness to memory, her face divided by successive cuts serves as proof that a gaze is never singular, but rather multiple visions trapped in different instants. The process behind this work responds to the idea of ephemeral permanence: form is built through repetition, yet that very repetition dissolves it. Through layers of superimposed lines, the image disintegrates and recomposes itself, revealing its unstable nature. The pauses between each fragment are neither mistakes nor voids but rather a record of transition an echo of a presence that moves and transforms in the very act of being represented. Every artistic decision from the drawing that divides the skin into temporal blocks to the way the duplicated eyes evoke simultaneity and distance responds to the search for a pictorial time, a perception that is not immediate but accumulative. The work does not merely depict a body; it reveals the process of its emergence and disappearance in space, as if the image were in a constant state of becoming, always on the verge of vanishing within its own reconstruction.

Zoe Lunar radiates and works in Mexico City, is a graduate of the national school of painting, sculpture and engraving "La Esmeralda". He is an artist in constant formation, who seeks plastic, visual and sound experimentation. His work feeds on time as matter and how it helps to interpret reality, through temporal representations, of spaces that converge in their social context and how this influences the formation and interpretation of our different contemporary realities; making use of the qualities of painting and drawing to make deformations in a perceptive portrait of different moments, and personal times in a single interpretation. He is currently nurturing his plastic work especially in painting and drawing, giving him new outlets like AR in some of his new works and occasionally making music and video.
