About this artwork
In the Eternity of My Reflection presents a visual meditation on identity and time, framed within cool tones that envelop the portrait of a woman. With her torso exposed and her hands covering her forehead, the woman appears immersed in an introspective moment, as though observing her own "self" reflected, fragmented, and magnified. This duplication of the face suggests time’s capacity to mold and penetrate being, revealing an infinite, mutable self. The piece explores how reflection is not merely a replica but an extension of experiences and memories; in each duplication, a trace of life and history emerges, forming the essence of existence. This interplay between what we are and what we see mirrors the permeability of time over the "self," reflecting an endless quest for self-definition. The composition evokes philosophical introspection on the role of memory and time, which, like layers of an eternal reflection, build and dismantle identity in an unending dance.

About the artist
Zoe Lunar radiates and works in Mexico City, is a graduate of the national school of painting, sculpture and engraving "La Esmeralda". He is an artist in constant formation, who seeks plastic, visual and sound experimentation. His work feeds on time as matter and how it helps to interpret reality, through temporal representations, of spaces that converge in their social context and how this influences the formation and interpretation of our different contemporary realities; making use of the qualities of painting and drawing to make deformations in a perceptive portrait of different moments, and personal times in a single interpretation. He is currently nurturing his plastic work especially in painting and drawing, giving him new outlets like AR in some of his new works and occasionally making music and video.
