In this artwork, time manifests as an inescapable force that defines and fragments existence. The balaclava covering the woman’s face not only conceals her identity but also acts as a symbol of the mask that time forces us to wear, blurring our true forms and essence. The tattoo on her chest, "tempo," serves as a reminder of the inner rhythm each individual carries, a pulse that aligns with the multiple timelines that govern us. The disintegration or duplication of the body and jacket, extending to the sides, reveals the multiple realities coexisting within a single being, a dance between lived time and lost time. These lines that detach from the body appear to be threads of destiny, woven by time, connecting us to our past, present, and future experiences, reminding us of the transience of existence. The title, "A specific moment in time, after departure," evokes the idea of a frozen instant after a departure, a moment where time seems to stop yet continues to move in different directions. The artwork thus becomes a visual meditation on the fragmentation of the self through time, where reality constantly disintegrates and rebuilds, reminding us that each person lives in a unique rhythm, marked by the infinite variety of moments that compose their existence.
