In "Parallel Reflections," time unfolds in a dance of dualities, where the reclining figure reveals two versions of herself, almost identical, yet separated by the fine line of perception. This double reflection evokes the ephemeral nature of reality, where every moment lived is simultaneously a shadow of what was and a prelude to what will be. The woman, in her duplicity, invites us to contemplate the coexistence of the multiple realities that shape us, each one an echo, a parallel reflection intertwined with our present. The interplay of light and shadow in the work underscores the fragility of perceived reality, suggesting that what we see may be a projection of what we desire or fear. The two figures, almost identical, represent the constant duality in our lives: the struggle between what is and what could have been. In this visual play, time becomes a key actor, blurring the boundaries between reality and fantasy, between present and memory. "Parallel Reflections" confronts us with the uncertainty of time, reminding us that reality is a fragmented mirror, where each reflection is a possible truth, and each shadow, a possible reality. Zoe Lunar radiates and works in Mexico City, is a graduate of the national school of painting, sculpture and engraving "La Esmeralda". He is an artist in constant formation, who seeks plastic, visual and sound experimentation. His work feeds on time as matter and how it helps to interpret reality, through temporal representations, of spaces that converge in their social context and how this influences the formation and interpretation of our different contemporary realities; making use of the qualities of painting and drawing to make deformations in a perceptive portrait of different moments, and personal times in a single interpretation. He is currently nurturing his plastic work especially in painting and drawing, giving him new outlets like AR in some of his new works and occasionally making music and video.
