This work is part of a pictorial inquiry that treats time as expandable matter. Based on a recognizable urban scene, a taco stand as a social microcosm, it unfolds a formal treatment that breaks with the unitary logic of representation. The human figures, triplicated in different phases of movement, enable a simultaneous reading of the instant, as if each gesture held multiple overlapping temporal realities. The lines emanating from the bodies do not suggest literal speed, but rather function as visual residues of time: graphic traces that translate the accumulation of perception. These lines become pictorial structures that tension the figure and the background, and beyond suggesting direction, they reveal the density of the lived moment. Repetition is neither decorative nor narrative; it is a plastic strategy that fractures the gaze and forces the viewer to navigate through layers of simultaneity. The focus is not on the anecdote of the place, but on the possibility of expanding a banal scene into a field of experimentation on the real. Painting here assumes the role of a quantum device: it records not what happened, but what could have happened. What is represented is the multiplicity of the now, and what is proposed is a pictorial experience of time as body, as trace, as retained vibration.

Zoe Lunar radiates and works in Mexico City, is a graduate of the national school of painting, sculpture and engraving "La Esmeralda". He is an artist in constant formation, who seeks plastic, visual and sound experimentation. His work feeds on time as matter and how it helps to interpret reality, through temporal representations, of spaces that converge in their social context and how this influences the formation and interpretation of our different contemporary realities; making use of the qualities of painting and drawing to make deformations in a perceptive portrait of different moments, and personal times in a single interpretation. He is currently nurturing his plastic work especially in painting and drawing, giving him new outlets like AR in some of his new works and occasionally making music and video.
