In Between an Armor of Time, the female figure is presented in two instances, as if one version of herself is sitting while another watches her, not as an exact reflection, but as a projection from a different time. This doubling of the figure evokes the sense that time is a protective layer, an armor that surrounds the woman, shaping her, but at the same time keeping her within a personal and intransmissible temporal structure. The seated woman seems to inhabit the present, while the figure before her, like an armor or cocoon, symbolizes a self that inhabits another time—a representation of the past or future overlapping with reality. This duality emphasizes the complexity of personal time, in which different versions of oneself coexist and protect each other in a dance of continuous transformation. The armor, far from being simple protection, is the physical manifestation of time that molds identity and reality in layered, overlapping forms. The work raises profound questions about how time affects our perception of the self. Is the present a definitive form, or merely one of many versions that emerge over time? The woman, caught between her own temporal armor, suggests that our being is in constant metamorphosis, protected and transformed by time, and that our reality, like the figure itself, unfolds into multiple simultaneous dimensions.

Zoe Lunar radiates and works in Mexico City, is a graduate of the national school of painting, sculpture and engraving "La Esmeralda". He is an artist in constant formation, who seeks plastic, visual and sound experimentation. His work feeds on time as matter and how it helps to interpret reality, through temporal representations, of spaces that converge in their social context and how this influences the formation and interpretation of our different contemporary realities; making use of the qualities of painting and drawing to make deformations in a perceptive portrait of different moments, and personal times in a single interpretation. He is currently nurturing his plastic work especially in painting and drawing, giving him new outlets like AR in some of his new works and occasionally making music and video.
