In Fractured Continuum, the portrait of a woman unfolds like a mosaic overflowing with duplications, where the boundaries of the body seem to disintegrate into multiple versions of itself. Her chest, hands, face, and eyes repeat with an almost dreamlike insistence, defying the laws of bodily unity. Each fragment appears as a visual echo, as if time had chosen to simultaneously capture all possible versions of her existence in an eternal instant. The space that holds her is enigmatic: no floor, chair, or defined context is visible, only a void that accentuates her suspended state. This absence reinforces the sense of rupture, as though the image had torn and been imperfectly reassembled in an attempt to preserve the figure. Yet this fracture does not convey chaos but a strange calm, as if multiplicity were a form of permanence in a universe where time and reality are malleable. The work invites reflection on our own perception of identity, challenging the notion that we are singular, linear entities. Here, the self unfolds as a kaleidoscope floating between past, present, and future, prompting each viewer to confront the question: are we a totality or a series of fragmented reflections in time?

Zoe Lunar radiates and works in Mexico City, is a graduate of the national school of painting, sculpture and engraving "La Esmeralda". He is an artist in constant formation, who seeks plastic, visual and sound experimentation. His work feeds on time as matter and how it helps to interpret reality, through temporal representations, of spaces that converge in their social context and how this influences the formation and interpretation of our different contemporary realities; making use of the qualities of painting and drawing to make deformations in a perceptive portrait of different moments, and personal times in a single interpretation. He is currently nurturing his plastic work especially in painting and drawing, giving him new outlets like AR in some of his new works and occasionally making music and video.
