In this artwork, the portrait of a woman unfolds into two versions of herself. One figure is presented intact, while the other seems to decompose into transverse cuts, as if her form were being traversed by a series of intervals that dislocate her identity. This doubling and fragmentation evoke the nature of time, not as a linear flow, but as a fabric of multiple dimensions where the present, the past, and the possible coexist. The fragmented representation can be viewed as a visual metaphor for quantum superposition, where multiple states exist simultaneously until reality is defined. In this way, the woman is not merely a static being but a spectrum of possibilities, unveiling the layers of her existence. The transverse cuts invite us to contemplate the fissures in our perception, questioning what we understand as continuity and unity. This work not only explores the aesthetics of duality but also proposes a reflection on how the reality we inhabit is composed of infinite fragments of time and experience. It compels us to wonder whether what we see is merely an interpretation of a moment or an echo of the realities we cannot fully grasp.

Zoe Lunar radiates and works in Mexico City, is a graduate of the national school of painting, sculpture and engraving "La Esmeralda". He is an artist in constant formation, who seeks plastic, visual and sound experimentation. His work feeds on time as matter and how it helps to interpret reality, through temporal representations, of spaces that converge in their social context and how this influences the formation and interpretation of our different contemporary realities; making use of the qualities of painting and drawing to make deformations in a perceptive portrait of different moments, and personal times in a single interpretation. He is currently nurturing his plastic work especially in painting and drawing, giving him new outlets like AR in some of his new works and occasionally making music and video.
