‘Beauty and her budgies’ is part of the ‘Birds’ series. I have chosen several women, either famous or not, and placed them in front of opulent backgrounds. Her hair and clothes were very textured, and I like the way she stares straight at the viewer. I added a detailed floral background with three budgies. It was painted on 400gsm watercolor paper (49.8cm x 63.5cm) using watercolor, acrylic, pastel and marker.
It needs to be matted and framed behind glass.
