This painting is part of my latest body of work ‘Perfectly Unbalanced’ - a celebration of being resilient and fearless when life presents us with challenges. Using my non-dominant hand following a ski injury, I explored these moments of adaptation through bold and intuitive brushstrokes, new colours and new textures from sand and leaves. Not being in control allowed a very liberated and authentic expression of triumph over what seemed impossible to begin with.

I invite you to remember that surrendering to the unknown and embracing change, even when it seems scary, can actually help to navigate through life more easily, more authentically, and ultimately, more freely. You’re welcome to see the complete series on my website.
