Part of my series ‘Let the light in’. Finding hope during challenging times is not easy. In this series, I embarked on a journey back to a time when my world fell apart. A time when I both lost and found hope. These paintings are a collection of those hopeful moments that help you overcome any adversity. Each piece began with a black layer on the canvas. As I’ve navigated through my personal memories, brightness was gradually added. Lighter colours began to partially conceal the darker areas. Transparent layers serve as a reminder of what shapes us. When you invite light into your life, you don’t eliminate darkness completely, but you diminish its presence in your life. Read more on my website.
