Part of my latest series ‘Whispers from the coast’ - a series that was born from a nostalgic reverie. In the painting process, echoes of the faint whispers that tried to guide me towards my true path, were heard. These whispers now resound loudly as I've learned to listen to them. The colour of the surface I chose resembles sand, which enabled me to create as carefree child painting by the shore. The colours, composition and textures are a blend of yesterday’s memories and today’s views of Portugal’s coastline. Mixed media on raw canvas.
