"Post of Trauma" explores the layered psychological impact of PTSD, not limited to war but all forms of conflict and terror. The artwork's dual-panel structure merges the front and back of canvases, peeling away layers to reveal what lies beneath—mirroring how trauma resurfaces in fragments, both consciously and unconsciously. Through its interplay of 2D and 3D elements, the piece reflects the non-linear, fragmented way memories persist. Toy soldiers, positioned across the canvas stretcher, signal the hidden yet ever-present battle within. The faint war-torn landscape, barely visible as it seeps through the back, suggests that the past continually influences the present, underscoring the ongoing emotional weight of trauma. The piece embraces an intentionally unfinished aesthetic with visible sketches, loose brushstrokes, and exposed canvas, revealing the raw and unresolved nature of these recollections and how trauma from conflict lingers, reshaping narratives and memories. "Post of Trauma" ultimately serves as a visual representation of the human psyche's resilience and vulnerability in the face of profound distress, offering a nuanced perspective on the lasting impact of trauma and the complex path toward healing.
