"In the Frame" is a homage to Van Gogh's iconic chair painting. It forgoes traditional canvas. Instead, the artwork itself consists of painting directly on the frame – a combination of artist's stretcher bars, plywood, and even the back of a salvaged chair. The raw wood serves as the canvas, while the exposed wall behind becomes the background.
