This is a sculptural painting of 2 chairs. One is a flat almost tech drawing of a chair and the other is an actual wooden chair that comes out of the canvas. This wall hung painting a chair is "realized" into the 3-dimensional world as a virtual animation of its 2-dimensional painted form still retaining painterly characteristics in our realm. This is the story of a chair, how it could evolve into a concrete object (or alternatively recede back into the 2-dimensional plane). Note: The painting would need a wall with no furniture in front or beneath it because part of the painting, where the chair is, protrudes 29.21 cm (11.5 inches) and the canvas theat partially wraps it hangs low.
