"Dream" is a visual chronicle of a journey fraught with struggle, reflection, and resilience—an exploration of the emotional and psychological landscape that accompanies the pursuit of one's deepest desires. This piece, which began in 2022 and only recently found its completion, is a vivid testament to the relentless nature of ambition and the harsh realities that accompany it. At first glance, "Dream" is a chaotic mix of colors, words, and images, but beneath the surface lies a deeply personal narrative. The bold text, "Nobody Achieves Dreams in Comfort," serves as the centerpiece, a stark reminder that the road to fulfillment is often paved with discomfort and challenge. Surrounding this are the faces of girls, crying and scared, representing the vulnerable moments of doubt and fear that we all encounter. The tally marks scattered across the canvas, counting to four and crossing out the fifth, are symbols of persistence—an ongoing tally of the attempts made, the battles fought, and the refusal to give up. Each mark is a testament to the countless times you’ve tried, failed, and tried again, underscoring the message that giving up is never an option. A facepalm figure lurks in the chaos, embodying those moments of frustration and self-doubt, when the dream seems distant and the path uncertain. Yet, amidst the turmoil, there are signs of balance—a representation of a pendulum that swings back and forth, a constant reminder to keep everything in perspective, to weigh the ups and downs with equal measure. The presence of a toy water gun, a playful yet poignant symbol of your nemesis, reflects the way fears and challenges often take on different forms—sometimes intimidating, sometimes almost absurd. It’s a nod to the fact that our fears are often smaller than we make them out to be, yet they hold significant power in our minds.
