Blending my Brazilian heritage with my contemporary experiences in London. My artistic practice focuses on using photography and multimedia art as references to painting memories and psychological images. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Arts from Belas Artes University in Lisbon in 2019, which laid the foundation for exploring various artistic paths. My artwork often features young female or queer protagonists in surreal, fantastical settings, influenced by Brazilian folklore and personal traumas and experiences. The figures symbolize loneliness, desire, and melancholy. The compositions are made out thinking about my journey as a human being, immigrant, climate change survivor and person perceived as a woman. I'm always evolving my craft and not focusing on one way of painting but the reasons I paint.
