Part of a new series ‘Beyond the veil’ released on 20 Jan 2024. ‘Beyond The Veil’ tells the story of experiencing loss of balance, fear, and vagueness. Moments where the unknown is what scares us the most and we search for something to cling onto. This is the story that the dark underlayers in these paintings tell. In the process of creating these pieces, I found myself looking up to the clouds more often than usual, searching for a meaning beyond the hidden and mysterious veil-like layers. When rays of light pierced the clouds, they offered to transcend the everyday experiences, and find comfort and peace in what lies beyond.
