About this artwork
Abstract mixed-media acrylic painting with fabric elements. This is an experimental painting. I've combined existing patterns from fabric and echoed those patterns with paint. Lush depth gives this painting endless areas of interest, it is my intention that the viewer finds something new with each contemplation. This piece was created over a span of several months. Acrylic on unstretched canvas with a 2.5 inch border for stretching. Due to the nature of construction, Cipher will require heavy duty stretcher bars. Elements of the painting "run off" the edge of picture plane, and a frame is recommended. Signed, dated, and titled on the back.

About the artist
I'm an abstract painter and sculptor with a focus on creating work that makes an explorative use of color as a backbone to form and subject matter. I experiment frequently and often switch between mediums chasing an impulse to learn, and become immersed in the process. Time seems to stand still when I'm working and I consider the process itself the art, and the artwork a record of what transpired. When I'm not painting or glazing you'll find me sewing overalls, tinkering with a new recipe for my candy shop, or producing a new electronic tune on my mac. My creative pursuits are the foundation of who I am.
