About this artwork
Bright abstract sculptural vessel with a wide spectrum of color and finishes. Bright gold luster accents guide the eye around this abstract piece. This sculpture was titled for the subtle mouth and tongue motifs that I see in it. I thought it was amusing to imagine a swear jar that was very full. It is a playful piece with color work being the main manner of expression. Signed and dated at the base in 22K gold luster. This vase form is thoroughly finished with a clear glaze on the inside and it can be safely used to hold water for a floral arrangement- though not its intended use I can imagine a tasteful spray of flowers could be quite stunning and joyful.

About the artist
I'm an abstract painter and sculptor with a focus on creating work that makes an explorative use of color as a backbone to form and subject matter. I experiment frequently and often switch between mediums chasing an impulse to learn, and become immersed in the process. Time seems to stand still when I'm working and I consider the process itself the art, and the artwork a record of what transpired. When I'm not painting or glazing you'll find me sewing overalls, tinkering with a new recipe for my candy shop, or producing a new electronic tune on my mac. My creative pursuits are the foundation of who I am.
