Entanglement(Emin) is part of a series of abstract textile drawings created using graphite. Meditative in nature, each drawing is named after a woman artist who has inspired me in some way, pointing to how the past, present, and in turn the future, are materially intertwined. The messiness of this particulr work reminded me of Tracey Emin's bed.

In pointing to the liveliness of objects and their constituent parts, I work to shine a light on socio-political, economic, and environmental entanglements of our daily existence.
