About this artwork
This painting fuses the mythology of technology with timeless human archetypes. In the foreground sits an android, not clad in steel but in a plain white robe, evoking a monk or a philosopher. His posture suggests meditation, his gaze fixed on a coin in hand. Yet this coin is no ordinary token: its two sides, once symbols of chance and fate, have become binary digits — 0 and 1, the foundation of all digital life. For humanity, a coin toss has always symbolized randomness, divine will, or the game of destiny. For the machine, however, it becomes pure order: the strict logic of code, where chance dissolves into precision. What humans call luck, artificial intelligence interprets as structure. Opposite the android crouches a mechanized rhinoceros. Its form still carries the brute power of nature, yet its body is encased in armor-like machinery. It embodies both the primal energy of the earth and the technological might tamed by human hands. Its gaze meets that of the android, and in this silent confrontation lies the central question: which path leads closer to truth — raw power or abstract reason? Around them rise colossal ruins, echoes of temples once built to connect earth and sky. These stones remind us that human culture has always sought spiritual depth. Now, within these ruins, machines inherit the stage. Can they also reach toward transcendence, or are they forever bound by zeros and ones? The scene becomes a metaphor for our era: between chaos and order, instinct and code, nature and technology. The android and the rhinoceros embody a silent dialogue about fate, meaning, and whether true spirit can ever be born from the binary heart of machines. Painting will be shipped on a roll
