About this artwork
“Gravity” — Kseniya Rai Oil on canvas, 180 × 155 cm, 2026 From the series Zero Thinking “Gravity” examines the moment when form begins to yield — not abruptly, but almost imperceptibly. The work exists in a state of quiet transition, where stability and dissolution overlap. A suspended sphere anchors the composition, holding a fragile balance between presence and fall. Around it, the landscape shifts: rock formations fracture, surfaces soften, pigment flows downward. Gravity becomes visible — not as force, but as process. The horizon remains calm, almost untouched, suggesting a parallel state of stillness. This contrast creates a tension between what is held and what is already in motion. Within this space, opposites do not conflict — they coexist. Structure and erosion. Control and release. Silence and movement. In the Zero Thinking series, this work reflects a state beyond decision, where perception is no longer filtered through analysis. What remains is a direct experience of change — continuous, unresolved, and open. Nothing resists. Nothing insists. Everything moves as it must.
