Note: this piece is mounted on glass My best friend ever was my dog Jake who passed away May 21 2020 at 16 years old. It was painful, in 2023 I started trying to sketch him, but while I was getting images that looked just like him, the feeling just wasn’t there. And so i completely let go and gave into the feeling he brought around when he was there. He was happy, he was bright, he barked, he wagged his tail and most of all, he pooped, a lot :-)

I was Born in Havana Cuba — moved to Miami Florida during mid teens — Served in The US Navy right out of high school — During my 20s I received a formal education in architecture, art, and design — I believe there is a chance the universe is a simulation where nothing has innate meaning, so we get to give everything the meaning we want — I believe that what we observe creates our reality — beauty and ugliness inhabit same exact space at the same exact time. It is only us create the experience by observing.
