About this artwork
Embrace the power of authenticity with our captivating original artwork, 'Be Seen.' This monochromatic masterpiece measures 25.5 inches wide by 31 inches tall, making it a striking addition to any space. The artwork features a minimalist style with a face depicted using thick black acrylic lines, exuding a sense of simplicity and depth. The uniqueness of this piece lies in its message of self-expression and individuality. The eyebrows spell out 'Be Seen,' reminding us all to embrace our true selves and live life authentically. The absence of race or gender in the artwork signifies the universal nature of personal identity. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the frame, matte, paper, and backing are all adorned in a captivating shade of blue, creating a cohesive and visually stunning presentation. Even the screws holding the frame together are meticulously matched to the vibrant blue color scheme. This original artwork is a part of the renowned Chappe collection, designed to inspire positivity and joy in every aspect of life. The “Be Seen” artwork was made in collaboration with Dani Sullivan, a queer therapist, educator, and the founder of Intentions Therapy. Intentions Therapy is an LGBTQIA-centered private practice in Florida committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive space where queer and trans individuals can access affirming therapy, resources and group services. By adorning your space with 'Be Seen,' you not only elevate the aesthetic appeal but also make a powerful statement about embracing your unique identity and encouraging others to do the same. This ‘Be Seen’ piece and the accompanying ‘Bear Witness’ original artwork, prints, and merch from the Chappe x Intentions Therapy collaboration highlights the healing process of being seen, truly witnessed and healing in connection with our authenticity. As part of our commitment to supporting the LGBTQ community, a percentage of the proceeds from this artwork will be donated to organizations ded

About the artist
I was Born in Havana Cuba — moved to Miami Florida during mid teens — Served in The US Navy right out of high school — During my 20s I received a formal education in architecture, art, and design — I believe there is a chance the universe is a simulation where nothing has innate meaning, so we get to give everything the meaning we want — I believe that what we observe creates our reality — beauty and ugliness inhabit same exact space at the same exact time. It is only us create the experience by observing.
