About this artwork
Introducing a one-of-a-kind piece of art that is sure to bring a smile to your face! This happy and playful piece by an up-and-coming artist features a post-modernist, pop-art style rendering of a smiling dog. The dog's expression is irresistibly happy, and the bright yellow and orange color scheme of the frame is sure to add vibrancy and personality to any space. Lawrence Chappe incorporated three-dimensionality and texture in this mixed media art and illustration by signing the piece "Chappe" on the dog collar. He used thick bright yellow paint to create a tactile and visually impactful element, elevating the overall design of the painting. Interestingly, two of the artist's friends thought the dog was wearing slacks, and now it's hard to unsee it! This quirky detail adds an extra layer of playfulness to the piece and shows the artist's attention to detail and playful spirit. Measuring 19.5 inches wide and 22.5 inches tall, this 1 of 1 piece is the perfect size for displaying in your home or office. The frame is half yellow and half orange, which creates a bold and eye-catching effect that will add energy to any room. If you love post-modernism and pop-art and want to add a unique and uplifting piece of art to your collection, this is the perfect choice. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own a one-of-a-kind piece of art that is sure to bring joy and happiness into your life!

About the artist
I was Born in Havana Cuba — moved to Miami Florida during mid teens — Served in The US Navy right out of high school — During my 20s I received a formal education in architecture, art, and design — I believe there is a chance the universe is a simulation where nothing has innate meaning, so we get to give everything the meaning we want — I believe that what we observe creates our reality — beauty and ugliness inhabit same exact space at the same exact time. It is only us create the experience by observing.
