About this artwork
Step into a world of vibrant self-expression with our extraordinary original artwork, 'Bear Witness.' This captivating piece, framed in a bold and eye-catching fluorescent pink, invites you to embrace your true self with unapologetic confidence. The centerpiece of this artwork is a pair of black sunglasses, crafted with thick acrylic paint that adds a tangible texture and visual depth. The sunglasses serve as a powerful symbol, reminding us to bear witness to our own unique journey and to the stories and experiences of others. 'Bear Witness' is a dynamic addition to the renowned Chappe collection, which celebrates a life lived positively and joyfully. The choice of fluorescent pink infuses the artwork with energy and excitement, creating an irresistible focal point that demands attention. As part of the LGBTQ community, we understand the significance of living life authentically. That's why a portion of the proceeds from this artwork will be donated to organizations that support and uplift trans individuals in need. By bringing 'Bear Witness' into your space, you not only enhance its aesthetic appeal but also contribute to a meaningful cause. With the same framing and hardware as its counterpart, 'Be Seen,' this diptych speaks to the experience of living life genuinely and without masks. The contrast between the calming blue of 'Be Seen' and the vibrant pink of 'Bear Witness' highlights the journey of self-discovery and the importance of celebrating our diverse identities. Choose 'Bear Witness' as a physical print or a digital download, and immerse yourself in its powerful message. Hang it proudly on your walls, gift it to a loved one, or carry its transformative energy with you on a phone background or a folded card. Experience the empowerment of 'Bear Witness,' and let it inspire you to embrace your authentic self, celebrate the beauty of diversity, and make a bold statement about the power of being seen as a unique human being.

About the artist
I was Born in Havana Cuba — moved to Miami Florida during mid teens — Served in The US Navy right out of high school — During my 20s I received a formal education in architecture, art, and design — I believe there is a chance the universe is a simulation where nothing has innate meaning, so we get to give everything the meaning we want — I believe that what we observe creates our reality — beauty and ugliness inhabit same exact space at the same exact time. It is only us create the experience by observing.
