a unique and special diptych designed to capture two emotions — patience on one canvas and joy on the other. the title Ayo-mide translates to “my joy has arrived,” the very common Yoruba name adds depth to this piece. whether displayed together or apart, my hope is that - it serves as a reminder that the two pieces will always hold meaning in relation to each other.
