About this artwork
By Faith is a deeply personal reflection on hope, resilience, and the power of prayer for a brighter future. As a child, when I first saw images of the Hiroshima explosion, mistaking the terrifying mushroom cloud for something soft and beautiful—a pillow, a cloud, a dream. Now, with the weight of understanding, the piece transforms this memory into a powerful prayer: that all ‘giant land-clouds’ become symbols of peace rather than destruction. It highlights the importance of safeguarding the future for generations to come.
