About this artwork
This painting is a surreal self-reflection on what it feels like to have questions—while the answers sit right in front of you. Inspired by the story of Joseph interpreting Pharaoh’s dream, it revisits the symbolism of cows as provision—just as they appeared in the original photograph captured in 2019. But now, they return in a modern vision, where the divine call arrives like a dream—yet through the familiarity of our glowing screens. The pending transmission aims to interrupt routine with revelation, and to speak directly to a generation searching for meaning in silence, signals, and algorithms. “His Call, to Feed My Cows” is both a sequel and a response to “As I Dey Hustle, Who Go Feed My Cows”—speaking to the question of who will provide, who takes the lead, and what it means to be chosen in a world where silence and signals often blur. - Original oil painting on canvas 24H” x 36W” accompanied with a Certificate of Authenticity
