About this artwork
Photograph, Pigment print, Image size: 28x34cm, Edition of 01/05. Best known for Apollonia Müller's iconic photographic investigation of urban landscapes in Los Angeles, here Apollonia offers an exceptional photograph that have never been published or exhibited. The gaze of the detached observer seems strangely similar to military infrared imagery, federal law enforcement surveillance, and horizons produced by CGI digital effects that no longer distinguish between human and non-human, individual from group, but maps heat, movement, distance, height, and speed.
