My exploration of my photo archives often brings me to unexpected points of reflection, like encountering Nicholas Lamas’ work in the Vienna museum. The tradition of copying masters is ancient, but I’m unsure if the same can be applied to modern art. I wonder whether replicating an installation or object from contemporary art could offer me a fresh perspective or experience. It’s an open question I haven’t fully resolved yet, but the possibility intrigues me.

Artist's commentary
My journey through photo archives often reveals unexpected images: found objects, ruins, trash, landscapes, or old family photos, saved screenshots. This collection seems almost limitless, but I incorporate some of these images into my artistic practice. Through this method of collecting, selecting, and practicing, I gradually build a visual story of my personal experience, turning random fragments into parts of a larger narrative.
