Roadside crosses used to be a very common sight in Transcarpathia, but now there are significantly fewer of them. I came across a Ukrainian online community that documents cultural heritage, and I was struck by the form and color of one of these crosses. I decided to join the process of reproducing the image of this cross and, at the same time, to gain new experience through this engagement.

Artist's commentary
My journey through photo archives often reveals unexpected images: found objects, ruins, trash, landscapes, or old family photos, saved screenshots. This collection seems almost limitless, but I incorporate some of these images into my artistic practice. Through this method of collecting, selecting, and practicing, I gradually build a visual story of my personal experience, turning random fragments into parts of a larger narrative.
