One city, different eras but they all speak so loud, you can hear them all at once. During my seven years in Rome I loved to wonder what the Roman pines had seen… so many changes so many people so many generations… and how they all found a way to stick to the city walls and stones and floors to stay alive.

Hello, my name is Monica, I have lived most of my life between Italy and Mexico I’m used to missing people here and there, leaving things behind and trying not to forget. With my art I want to portray a series of memories of simple things that make me feel at home. They can be as simple as an object or a color, a shadow or a texture.
