I wanted to incorporate volume into my work, and this new addition to the "Interlaced Landscapes" series explores that third dimension. The canvas-on-canvas layering adds a physical presence to the landscape. The black strips at the top and bottom reference traditional Chinese hanging scrolls. © Adagp
